The Office of Active Learning offers free Peer Academic Coaching for all currently enrolled UGA undergraduate students. Peer Academic Coaches work one-on-one with students to strengthen the academic skills that support success across all courses. Whether you want to improve your time management, organization, study strategies, note-taking, goal setting, motivation, or overall academic confidence, a Peer Academic Coach can help you develop personalized strategies and build effective habits. Coaching is free and available through one-on-one appointments offered both in person and online via Zoom.
To get started, download Penji, available on iOS and Android, and sign in using your MyID and password.

Engage with a Peer Academic Coach
Students on Academic Warning
Students on Academic Warning are required to meet with a Professional Academic Coach rather than a Peer Academic Coach. The Office of Active Learning will notify these students through UGA email. Students on Academic Warning should book this appointment in the first six weeks of the semester to have the greatest impact on their academic performance. These appointments are scheduled through SAGE rather than Penji. Peer Academic Coaching appointments will not satisfy the Connect & Complete coaching requirement for students on Academic Warning. If you are unsure of your academic standing, visit the Connect & Complete Academic Standing page to learn how to view your status in Athena.
Participation in Peer Education services is subject to University of Georgia Academic Honesty guidelines and the Code of Conduct. Failure to comply with applicable university policies may result in restrictions on participation in Peer Education services.
