SELECTION PROCESS:
A limited amount of funding is available, and the amount awarded will depend on several factors, such as the prevailing costs at the meeting’s location, the distance traveled, whether the event is regional, national, or international in scope, and the availability of funds at that time.
The selection process will take approximately two weeks. For submissions made near the application deadline and any travel that occurs during the review period, please ensure you have secured alternative funding as backup, such as departmental support.
Travel funding support is limited to one award per presentation, regardless of the type of travel. A maximum of $2,500 is available per trip. Travel must take place between now and June 10th, 2026.
Applicants will be reviewed by a committee composed of the Director of the Office of Active Learning, the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, and a representative of the CTL’s Active Learning team. The application will be evaluated based on the eligibility of faculty members and the quality and potential impact of the presentations. Awardees will be notified within two weeks after submissions and/or application deadlines.
